Strengthen Public Education

Fund the Future

A strong public education system is the backbone of a strong economy. It’s how we prepare kids for good jobs, help working families get ahead, and ensure every community can compete and thrive.

That means fully funding K–12 so classrooms are not forced to do more with less. It means paying teachers fairly, supporting paraprofessionals, and ensuring students have access to counselors, special education services, updated materials, and safe facilities.

It also means making higher education and career training affordable. We should lower the cost of college and invest in community colleges and trade schools so people can learn a skill and get a good-paying job without taking on crushing debt.

Every child, in every ZIP code, deserves a real opportunity. Investing in public education is how Missouri builds that opportunity for the long run.

Deport Criminals, Not Families

Keep Families Together

We were told they were deporting criminals, the worst of the worst. But that is simply not true.

Too often, families and people with no criminal record are swept into detention, held for weeks or months, and pressured to give up their rights just to get home. That is not a public safety strategy. It is a system that punishes kids and destabilizes communities.

I support the release of all detainees without a criminal record, and strong legal due process protections.

I also support the immediate closure of the Dilley Immigration Family Detention center and any facility that detains children or separates families. Our immigration system must be orderly and secure, but it must also be humane, transparent, and rooted in basic constitutional rights.

Fund Communities, Not Foreign Wars

Empty Cups Can’t Pour

Groceries and gas cost more every week, and it feels like Washington always has money for another overseas conflict. If we can afford endless foreign wars, we can afford to invest in the people who are struggling to pay rent, keep the lights on, and put food on the table.

Our budget reflects what we value.

I value our communities. I believe our tax dollars should strengthen families here at home by prioritizing the infrastructure and services that keep people safe and stable, so every neighborhood can grow and prosper.

Humanity > AI

Humanity-First Tech

As an early adopter of AI, I’ve seen the incredible things it can do. But I’ve grown increasingly detached, as it seems we are building a world catered to AI instead of one catered to humanity.

In 2023, Sam Altman testified before Congress, urging lawmakers to take AI seriously. He called for regulation: “I think if this technology goes wrong, it can go quite wrong… we want to be vocal about that.”

And yet, no such regulation is in sight. Instead, we are releasing this technology faster than anything else in history, with little regard for its consequences.

We should never shy away from human progress. But we must not prioritize technology over humanity.

I support the AI Data Center Moratorium Act, which aims to halt the expansion of AI data centers until national safeguards are in place.

Bring New Faces to D.C.

A New Generation in Washington

We need new faces in Washington. We cannot keep relying on the same career politicians to make decisions for us. The world is changing too fast.

I support term limits for Congress: no more than six two-year terms in the House and two six-year terms in the Senate. Term limits will help curb careerism, reduce the influence of entrenched special interests, and create more opportunities for new leaders with fresh ideas.

But term limits alone are not enough. We must encourage young people to get involved in politics and public service, because the decisions made today will shape their future for decades.

Fight Oligarchy | Defend Democracy

Break the Billionaire Grip

Billionaires and big corporations should not be able to buy elections, write our tax code, or drown out the voices of working people.

I support overturning the Supreme Court’s Citizens United ruling, which opened the door to unlimited outside spending and made it easier for a small number of wealthy donors to dominate our politics.

America belongs to the people, not the billionaires.
